Situated in Ifield, we’re a highly experienced team of mechanics who provide a full range of automotive services to motorists in the Crawley, Horley, Horsham and Gatwick areas – and many other locales throughout West Sussex. Founded in 2008, we’re a family-run business with six employees – five of which are Level 3 qualified MOT testers – who collectively boast over 50 years’ of trade experience. Being a small, independent garage we can offer car repairs, car servicing and MOT testing at competitive prices, in many cases beating out national fast-fits and dealerships.
Our size and independence also mean you’ll receive a more friendly and personal standard of service; we love to establish long-lasting relationships with our loyal customer-base, who know we’re here to help keep them on the road all year round, in a vehicle running safely and efficiently.
A Bit About Our Team
JA Autos was set-up by Jon, who remains our company owner, and has over 25 year experience in the garage trade. He’s supported by James, who has 22 years of experience himself. While the most experienced mechanics at some garages end up slipping into a back-office role, that’s not the case with us. When clients from Crawley, Horley, Horsham, Gatwick and their surrounds visit us for anything from a new set of tyres, to assistance with malfunctioning car air conditioning, gearboxes or cambelts, or a standard clutch replacement, you’ll receive help and assistance from seasoned mechanics who have seen it all over the course of their careers.
Our car repairs and car servicing is all carried out to the same standards you’d expect from a main dealership, and we are DVSA approved MOT testing providers whose apprentices train to NVQ standards. Fully insured with a £5m public liability insurance policy in place, we’re so confident in the quality of our work, we offer generous year guarantees on all parts used during car repairs and car servicing.
